Edoxx Technical Services LLC is a US Company based in Houston, Texas, with access to +350 highly experienced and advanced Engineers and Technicians delivering know-how and expertise in Civil, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, and Instrumentation engineering. Other related fields such as Projects Control, QA/QC Inspection, 3D Geometrical and Intelligent Modeling, and Drafting are also available.

Our client is looking for a Senior Piping Designer to work on-site at their Sugarland, Tx office. Our ideal candidate will be someone highly skilled with expertise with petrochemical EPC projects and proficiency in CADWorx. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our engineering team, responsible for designing and creating accurate piping layouts for various petrochemical projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop detailed piping design specifications, considering project requirements, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Utilize Cadworx software to create 2D and 3D models of piping systems.
  • Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand project objectives and deliver designs that meet client expectations.
  • Conduct thorough technical reviews of piping designs to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with relevant codes and standards.
  • Attend project meetings to provide expertise on technical aspects related to piping design.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers on piping design techniques and best practices.

Qualifications:
  • 6 years of experience as a Piping Designer in the petrochemical industry or related field.
  • Proficiency in using Cadworx software of piping systems is essential.
  • In-depth knowledge of piping materials, components, fittings, valves, and equipment used in the petrochemical industry.
  • Strong understanding of industry codes and standards such as ASME B31.3, API 570, ASME Section VIII Div.1.
  • Familiarity with plant layout concepts and ability to coordinate with other disciplines (structural, mechanical, electrical) for integrated designs.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
