The Business Supervisor has strong natural leadership skills. They re the air traffic controller for all things day-to-day. They love staying on top of the details and making sure all teams are in the communication loop. They can simultaneously and efficiently handle up to dozens of stakeholders, often with competing interests, and are skilled at both managing up and managing down. They are clear, concise, and persuasive communicators (verbal and written).

A Business Supervisor takes action without direction and has a proven ability to anticipate problems and develop solutions in the face of adversity. They have a POV and live to generate new ideas. They love the magic of a great idea.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develops and supervises the implementation of tactical plans to accomplish our client s objectives while managing client and agency expectations
  • Build expertise in clients' businesses and functions as an effective spokesperson for their business needs within the agency
  • Develops and manages relationships with mid-senior level clients and becomes a trusted advisor and go-to person for helping them with their business issues
  • Develops strategic and creative briefs, and presents materials internally and to the client
  • Conducts status meetings to discuss problems, opportunities, and work-in-progress
  • Independently leads and oversees projects while guiding cross-agency collaboration
  • Maintains open and complete communication of client status and issues with functional agency leaders. Keeps the Business Director informed of the status of projects, problems, plans, and meetings, and involves appropriate agency management personnel at key times.
  • Balances multiple clients and projects of a variety of complexity while managing stressful situations
  • Oversees and manages project flow from start to finish
  • Ensures that all of the integrated elements/disciplines of the Agency are brought together on time and are consistent with the campaign objective
  • Evaluates creative work, contributes to media plans and other agency recommendations before they go to clients, ensuring work meets objective/strategy
  • Creates collaborative and productive relationships with client's other Agency partners
  • Manages agency/client budgets and billing process accurately and timely
  • Creates a learning environment for junior staff to develop

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor of Arts degree or relevant work experience
  • 5 (+) years of progressive growth experience in advertising agency account management
  • Media process knowledge a plus
  • Excellent people and relationship-building skills. Able to develop strong and trustworthy relationships with both clients and internal team members.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal/written.)
  • Superior project management skills. Able to handle a large number of projects simultaneously and complete them on time with the highest level of quality. Highly detail-oriented.
  • Curious and engaged. Interested in advertising, creative businesses, research, and trends.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to maintain a positive attitude with team members and Clients in stressful situations.
  • Possesses working knowledge of purpose and process in each area of the agency's departments (Strategy, Media, Creative, Production, Finance)
  • Flexibility and eagerness to learn/apply other project management tools (i.e. Monday.com, Workamajig)

SALARY & BENEFITS

Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, work experience, level of responsibility, education, location, and current salary market data to determine equitable salary placement.

Base salary range at the time of this job posting: $80,000 - $110,000 DOE

LOCATION

Seattle Office: DNA is working a Hybrid schedule, with required in office days are Tuesdays & Thursdays of each week for employees who live in the Seattle metro region.

Currently, we are open to this role being fully REMOTE, in the following states only, Oregon and California, for qualified candidates.
