We are seeking an energetic, confident, and highly motivated Project Architect to help grow our High-Rise sector and team in Bellevue, WA. This experienced professional is a fully competent architect in all conventional aspects of architecture and works with the Project Manager to proactively produce technical design aspects of assigned major projects, including the investigation, evaluation and recommendation of design solutions that best meets the client s needs.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provides professional architectural consultation from Schematic Design through building permit submittal and Construction Administration for high-rise projects.
  • Coordinates all project architect related efforts and technical design, to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned projects through all phases of development, including Design Development, Construction Documents, and Construction Administration.
  • Reviews drawings and designs to ensure adherence to established specifications and standards.
  • Actively monitors and ensures the schedule, budgets, and scope of work is brought to completion and to the client's satisfaction.
  • Actively provides and monitors project communications, documentation, and project team assignments.
  • Serves as the secondary contact liaison.
  • Assists in presentations to the client on technical and design solutions.
  • Maintains and grows client relationships.
  • Works collaboratively with other staff; may provide technical guidance to less experiences staff and can redline others' work.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative skills.
  • Self-confident; tenacious while maintaining positive working relationships with clients, outside consultants, and technical staff.
  • Strong skills in Revit/BIM (REQUIRED); SketchUp modeling
  • Experienced in the development and monitoring of BIM execution plans (REQUIRED).
  • Experienced in large Type 1, High-Rise projects and generating entitlement and building permit submissions (REQUIRED).
  • Experienced in Construction Documents and Construction Administration.
  • Adept at coordinating multiple consultants, both for architect and owner.
  • Able to effectively and positively provide direction and lead architectural staff.
  • Commitment to their own professional growth as an architect.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS:
  • Active architectural license in the state of Washington (PREFERRED).
  • 8+ years of demonstrated relevant experience as an Architect and Project Architect.
  • Experience with City of Bellevue entitlement and building permit process preferred.
  • Completion of Bachelor s in Architecture or Master s in Architecture from an NAAB accredited program.
  • Commitment to their own professional growth.
  • Must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States without any restrictions or visa sponsorship.

We offer a competitive compensation package based on experience and qualifications. Excellent benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage. We also offer the opportunity to participate in a pre-tax Flexible Spending plan, Employee Stock Ownership Plan, and 401k.

Salary range: $90,000 -$110,000 depending on qualifications. Placement within this pay range will be determined by factors such as education, qualifications, project complexity and/or experience. The maximum is reserved for candidates who currently meet all job requirements.
