Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of software engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure high performance and professional growth.
• Drive the technical direction of the team, making architectural decisions and ensuring the scalability, reliability, and performance of our always-on SaaS product.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, clinical experts, and quality assurance, to define project requirements and deliver solutions that meet customer needs.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality and improve development processes.
• Stay up to date on emerging technologies and methodologies of modern software development, ensuring that we are developing high-quality software to the highest standards.

Skills and Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience building medical imaging applications (CT/MRI preferred)
• 2+ years hands-on team leadership experience; 5+ years hands-on development experience.
• Strong programming skills, design principles and patterns, OOP, templates, multi-threading.
• Understanding of TCP/IP socket communication.
• Working knowledge of (relational) database schema design.
• Working knowledge of source control systems: GitHub or similar and CI/CD experience with Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
• Knowledge of medical standards, specifically: DICOM.
• Experience with C++ and/or Python.
• Familiarity with cloud (AWS) and interface architecture.
• Ability to learn quickly and to collaborate well with other architects, developers, product owners on a fast-paced, cross-functional, globally located team.

Education and Certifications:

• Bachelor s degree in computer science or equivalent.

Boston-area employees are strongly encouraged to be in-person on Mondays and Wednesdays, with the option to come in as many days as they d like.
