Scheduler

Forge Forward is looking for a Scheduler to support a client in Patuxent River, MD. This full time position requires a bachelor s degree with 3-7 years of experience as a Scheduler (preferably with DoD organizations and programs). The position is hybrid and the candidate must be willing to be onsite 3 days a week at Patuxent River, MD. Candidate must be a US citizen with a Secret level clearance.

Position is responsible for develop Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and developing the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for the client. Once developed, the position will be responsible for helping the client update and maintain the schedule through execution.

Functional Skills and Responsibilities:
-Lead efforts to identify, document, and integrate project milestones and actions to develop a comprehensive IMS for the client.
-Support the development of the critical path and incorporation of project buffers.
-Utilize IMS to support the management and execution of project actions and provide recommendations on corrective actions, risks, and issues.

Requirements:
-3-7 years experience as a Scheduler (preferably with DoD organizations and programs).
-B.S. in Management, Engineering, or a related field.
-US Citizen with an interim or full clearance at the Secret level or above.

Desired Skills:
-Advanced proficiency in MS Project.
-Experience with building complex schedules to include elements such as milestones, summary tasks, multi-level hierarchies, predecessors, resource management, lead/lag times, baselines.
-Experience providing recommendations based on critical path, buffers, corrective actions, and risks/issues.
-PMP certification.
