Associate Electrical Engineer

Green Cubes Technology is a Lithium-Ion battery manufacturer in a rapidly growing industry based in Kokomo, IN. Green Cubes operates in a new and expanding industry. Our goal is to accelerate and facilitate the transition from inefficient lead acid power storage systems to Lithium-Ion power storage systems. We believe in designing and producing a cleaner and safer alternative to lead acid power storage systems.

The job duties of an Associate Electrical Engineer revolve around providing correct, complete and fully released engineering documentation to manufacturing. This involves selecting the correct released electrical assemblies and occasionally updating existing or creating new assemblies. This individual will work closely with other members of the engineering team and other departments to ensure manufacturing receives the correct documentation.

As an Associate Electrical Engineer, you will:

• Produce manufacturing documentation such as drawings, BOM s, and process instructions.
• Read and use schematics for wire harness design and troubleshooting electrical circuits.
• Create wire harnesses based on schematic requirements.
• Select wire harnesses for complete battery based on battery requirements.
• Use basic electronic diagnostic tools (voltmeter, oscilloscope, current meter, etc.) to troubleshoot batteries.
• Self-manage multiple concurrent projects, being cognitive of critical path items and tasks to minimize development time, from inception to initial production.

The right candidate should possess:

• An Associate degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (preferred) or working towards a degree.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• The ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.

A step ahead, but not required:

• Proficiency in using CAD software for design and drafting.
