Salary: $87,000 - $105,000 annual

We are looking for a Sr. Systems Administrator to join our team!

  • Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
  • Schedule and lead all demos, software configuration and implementation meetings with vendor.
  • Install, configure, test, launch and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools.
  • Document all planned operating systems, system software implementations and upgrades, including overall work plans, test plans, implementation schedules and backouts recovery plans.
  • Manage, operate, monitor, maintain and support all systems and infrastructure performance through ongoing preventive maintenance, patching, system administration, and customer service.
  • Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
  • Work with functional departments to develop and design data workflows and operational software support to maximize process efficiency and meet the evolving needs of a growing organization.
  • Provide subject matter expert level support to escalated issues and continue to participate until the issue is resolved or mitigation is in place.
  • Develop innovative solutions to provide immediate and timely resolution of issues impacting system availability and performance.
  • Perform network and software troubleshooting and diagnostics.
  • Assist in the creation of installation/configuration/maintenance policies, process, and procedures.
  • Manage special projects as assigned and act as a liaison to other departments and vendors on behalf of the IS department and organization.
  • Mentor, support and encourage the Help Desk Technician role.
  • Enforce IT security policies, standards & practices.

Here s what you will need to bring to the table:

  • Bachelor s in computer science, MIS, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience supporting a Windows Server AD environment.
  • Excellent planning, communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Healthcare-related company experience, including knowledge of 21CFR Part 11 and HIPAA, preferred, but not required.

Required Skills

  • Experience with Windows Server 2016/2019/Azure.
  • Knowledge and experience with VMWare.
  • Solid understanding of Active Directory/LDAP, DNS, DHCP, and group policies.
  • Experience with Windows 10 and higher.
  • Outstanding attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills as well as ability to conceive of the larger picture in relation to strategic planning.
  • Excellent customer service.
  • Motivated and strong work ethic.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Veeam Backup & Replication.
  • Experience with Fortinet.
  • Experience with WordPress.
  • MCTIP, MCTS, MCSE or MCSA certifications.

Targeted Compensation: $87,000 - $105,000 annually
