Job Description
Job Title: Onsite IT Support Technician
Location: Las Vegas, NV
Salary: $44,990.00 - $49,920.00
Position Overview: Our client is currently seeking an experienced Onsite IT Support Technician to join their team in Las Vegas, NV. The ideal candidate will possess a current A+ certification, a minimum of 2 years of IT support experience, and proficiency in providing support for Windows operating systems and hardware components. Experience with ticketing systems such as Jira is required.
Responsibilities:
Provide onsite technical support for hardware break-fix issues, including laptops, desktops, monitors, network cabling, and printers.
Troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware issues related to Windows operating systems.
Utilize ticketing system software (Jira and internal application) to track, prioritize, and escalate support requests.
Collaborate with team members to resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
Document support processes and procedures for knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
Current A+ certification.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support.
Proficiency in supporting Windows operating systems.
Experience with hardware break-fix for various devices.
Familiarity with ticketing system software, preferably Jira.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Shift:
Normal day shift hours with some flexibility.
Rotating on-call duty once every 5-7 weeks.
