About The Company:

At MustardSeed PMO, we re a leading project management service provider, designing and delivering solutions for clients across multiple sectors within the Life Sciences industry.

This position is NOT a direct position with MustardSeed PMO, but with a pharmaceutical organization.

Overview:

We are seeking a Lab PC Engineer to join our Lab IT Services team, providing dedicated support at our client's pharmaceutical site. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of deploying IT projects within GxP Lab environments, specifically in the pharmaceutical industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Design & Implementation: Understand system requirements and design solutions aligned with Gilead Sciences standards.
  • Application Installation & Configuration: Install and configure applications according to specifications and manage platform upgrades.
  • Documentation: Author user and functional requirements documents, technical specifications, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Testing & Change Management: Contribute to testing procedures, assist with script execution, and author change requests.
  • Hardware Management: Procure, build, image, and deploy systems; manage decommissioning processes.
  • Support & Troubleshooting: Resolve issues escalated by the sustain support desk.
  • IT Compliance: Perform security and audit trail reviews, assess data generation/modification, and identify/remediate security findings.
  • System Maintenance: Execute Windows 10 security patches, reboots, and system verification checks as per client protocols; plan quarterly updates and perform scheduled checks.

Required Industry Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience working in a pharmaceutical QC lab environment.
  • 3-5 years of experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting computer hardware, operating systems, applications, and network issues in both GxP and non-GxP settings.

Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Preferred: Recent Microsoft, CompTIA, or ITIL certifications.
