Hyundai CRADLE Silicon Valley is seeking a contract Open Innovation Specialist to join our team for a fixed-term period. This role will support our Open Innovation initiatives across North America, with a strong emphasis on organizing and managing key industry events such as the Mobility Innovator Summit.


Key Responsibilities:

* Lead the preparation and execution of major industry events like the Mobility Innovator Summit, coordinating with internal teams and external partners
* Manage logistics, content development, and participant engagement for innovation-focused conferences and workshops
* Support the facilitation of internal and external innovation events
* Manage and nurture existing partnerships while identifying potential new collaborations
* Conduct research on open innovation and market trends in the mobility sector
* Help manage communications with HQ partners and event stakeholders
* Contribute to presentations and reports on industry and technological trends
* Assist in maintaining a leads/deal flow database, with a focus on connections made during events
* Help cultivate relationships with startup, VC, and corporate innovation partners, leveraging events as networking opportunities
* Support the development of relationships with key stakeholders
* Provide general support to other team members, assisting with their projects and tasks as needed

Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline, business, or event management
* Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
* Legal authorization to work in the United States for the contract duration

Preferred Qualifications:

* Knowledge of automotive technologies, software, AI, energy storage, or robotics
* Experience in organizing tech conferences or industry summits
* 0-3 years of relevant work experience in event management or innovation sectors
