JOB OVERVIEW

The Vendor Services Advocate is a key position tasked with the build-out and management of ForeFront Power s new energy and facilities solution services. The Advocate will be responsible for building out networks of various solution categories by cultivating a robust vendor network for energy- and facility-related services while monitoring transactions between customers and the vendors of these network solution services. The role will ultimately ensure solution delivery and overall customer satisfaction as part of ForeFront Power s transition to a Total Energy Solution Provider (TESP).

JOB LOCATION AND REPORTING TO

This position will be a remote position. The Vendor Services Advocate reports to the head of our TESP services team and will work closely with our Sales & Marketing, Development, Engineering, Sourcing, and Legal teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build and maintain a vendor network to support the delivery of new solution services to ForeFront Power customers
    • Research target industries to categorize product/service offerings and develop go-to-market strategy
    • Identify, engage, and solicit prospective vendor participants (e.g, sell our platform services to vendors to secure their network participation)
    • Coordinate the collection of vendor information and negotiate service agreements with the new services vendor pool to support sourcing requirements
  • Provide ongoing solution services management for the company
    • Manage new services vendor pool to ensure responsiveness, value delivery, and fees paid on an ongoing basis
    • Act as an extension of our customer s facilities management teams in overseeing vendor performance
    • Conduct annual reviews with each vendor
    • Provide vendor feedback and discover new solution categories through needs analysis to add development work to the product backlog for consideration
    • Embrace a culture of continuous improvement and provide ongoing assessment and recommendations
  • Perform additional job duties as assigned by the head of our TESP services team in support of company strategic initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor s Degree, ideally in business or renewable energy/sustainability
  • 2+ years of facilities management, business development, and/or supply chain management
  • Commercial experience in Facilities Energy Services (ideally with HVAC, Electrical, Renewables, Energy Management, Building Automation and/or eMobility/EV Infrastructure)
  • Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Prior sales or sourcing experience is highly desired (comfort with cold-calling and pipeline management)
  • Strong quantitative skills
  • Extremely proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with CRM platforms preferred

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This position is primarily vendor-facing and may require domestic and/or international travel to visit customer, vendor, and project sites. The role is primarily office-based, and subsequently requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk in front of a computer.
