Tipping Point Solutions, a training development company specializing in instructional design, media/video production, and interactive, game-based eLearning products, has an immediate opening for a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for their (92F) Petroleum Supply Specialist Individual Tasks in a Shared Environment (ITSE) Contract. Position will be a part-time hourly contractor responsible for ensuring the doctrinal accuracy of the product during the entire contract period of performance. This position is 100% remote and offers competitive compensation and flexibility, allowing you to balance this work with other professional commitments.

Responsibilities:

  • Play a vital role in collaborating with our application designers, 3D modelers, Unity3D developers, and clients to create immersive and effective training solutions.
  • Provide technical and doctrine expertise to instructional designers throughout the project period of performance.
  • Review storyboards for technical and doctrine accuracy
  • Review IMI Alpha for technical and doctrine accuracy
  • Test final IMI product for technical and doctrine accuracy

Qualifications:

The qualifications of the subject matter expert must be in compliance with our contract. SME:

  • Must have held 92F and 92W MOS a minimum of 10 years and Expiration Term of Service/Retired not earlier than 2010 due to new systems introduced in late 2004.
  • Must have operational experience with Identify Health Hazards of Petroleum Products, Environmental Standards and Spill Contingency, Safety, Fire Fighting Equipment and Procedures, Theory of Pump Operations, Fuel Filtration and Monitor Theory, Gauging and Sampling, Categories, API Gravity, and Visual Examination, Gauging Tables, and Volume Corrections, Theater of Operations, Waterfront Operations and Offshore Petroleum, Manifolds, Pipes, Valves, and Fittings, Railcar and Depot Operations, Tactical Petroleum Components, Distributions/Systems, the Tank and Pump Unit (TPU), Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical truck M978 (HEMTT), Tank Vehicles & Refuel on the Move System (ROM), HEMTT Tanker Aviation Refueling System (HTARS), Aviation Quality Surveillance, Assault Hose Line and 350 GPM Pump, Tank Rack Modular Fuel System, Pump Rack Module, Modular Fuel System (MFS), Fuel System Supply Point (FSSP), and Hammond Injector.
  • Must have operational experience with Identify Health Hazards of Chemical Products used for treatment, storage, and distribution, Environmental Standards/Stewardship and Discharge Permits, Safety, Water Quality Analysis and Testing, Understanding of the Military Field Water Standard Tests for both short term and long-term consumption, 1,500 Gallon Per Hour (GPH) Tactical Water Purification System (TWPS), 60KW Tactical Quiet Generator, and Load Handling System (LHS) Water Tank Rack (Hippo).
