We are in the midst of revolutionizing our core capabilities to maximize service and mission outcomes. This will include an integrated platform for relationship and people management, learning, intranet and data warehouse. In order to achieve all this, we are now looking for a Solution Architect, Digital Experience

The Solution Architect, Digital Experience leads the development, communication and deployment of the architecture and design of Digital Experience solutions and related components (e.g. digital platform, integration, security, solution customization). The Solution Architect, Digital Experience will exercise influence, and impact, across the enterprise in promoting the strategic direction for Digital capabilities, enablement, and adoption.

What you will be doing:

  • Lead the architecture for The Salvation Army s Digital Experience platforms, including our intranet, extranet and digital asset library.
  • Collaborate with the Enterprise Architecture team to address Digital Experience requirements.
  • Create and maintain architectural drawings and documentation for successful project execution
  • Stay informed on Digital Experience trends, particularly within the non-profit sector.
  • Secure organizational commitment for enterprise-level Digital Experience initiatives.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of the organization's technologies and architectural landscape.
  • Ensure project alignment with Digital Experience blueprints and strategic goals.
  • Translate business needs into comprehensive technical designs and solutions.
  • Provide leadership in the development and deployment of Digital Experience solutions.
  • Oversee architectural governance to ensure compliance with standards and policies.
  • Advocate and promote Digital Platform solutions across the enterprise.

What you bring to the table:

  • Over 10 years of experience with Digital Experience solutions, including large-scale implementations of solutions for intranet, extranet and digital asset library.
  • Extensive experience as a solution/technical architect in complex development environments.
  • Proven track record in leading digital transformation initiatives with digital experience solutions.
  • Experience with Simpplr, Salesforce Experience Cloud and Adobe solutions is an asset.
  • Expert knowledge of cloud architecture best practices and modern cloud-based solution development.
  • Proficiency in writing business requirements from wireframes and understanding Agile methodology.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and organizational skills, with the ability to present to executives and align enterprise-wide direction with business needs.
