  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

  3. Click Privacy and Security.
  4. Click Site settings.
  5. Click JavaScript.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a prop trading firm in Chicago that focuses on short and medium term trading.

This is a fast paced and dynamic organisation that are spread globally and who are looking for a proactive candidate to join them. The role is primarily office based with occasional data centre visits and involves interactions with the trading teams.

Some of the responsibilities involve Linux system performance monitoring, some level of tuning and support of Linux workstations. You will be providing global Linux infrastructure support and support to the development and trading teams.

You will also need to have the ability to handle day to day maintenance and administration tasks like disk partition, volume and content issues, plus arising break-fix, reactive and planned fault remediation in a timely and controlled fashion, globally.

Skills required:

  • Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems
  • Some knowledge of financial markets in terms of connecting to multicast channels, dropcopy sessions ect.
  • Previous use of infrastructure process automation and centralised monitoring tools
  • 2 infrastructure coding languages
  • High level understanding of network infrastructure support, Kickstart, Linux, VPN, firewall and network config.
