  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Project Description:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst (BA) to support a large-scale integration program for an ongoing initiative in the DOT COM area. This is an onsite position based in Chicago, with a long-term opportunity for growth.

Responsibilities:

The Technical Business Analyst will act as a key liaison between business challenges and technology solutions. Core responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing business processes, identifying needs, and proposing solutions that may involve software development, process improvements, or organizational changes.
  • Gathering and documenting business and system requirements, conducting detailed business and system analysis, and creating functional specifications for systems to meet business requirements.
  • Overseeing the implementation of technology solutions and ensuring they align with business objectives.
  • Writing detailed user stories for the development and EQA teams, ensuring sufficient detail and clarity without needing significant supervision.
  • Collaborating with product owners and participating in PI (Program Increment) planning sessions, especially with the local team in Chicago.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Technical Degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Proven experience in analytics and systems development.
  • Proficiency with digital analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Google Ad Manager.
  • Strong analytical abilities with a demonstrated ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) and Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with JIRA for project management and tracking.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Familiarity with the media player or entertainment domain.
  • Preference for candidates local to Chicago to collaborate closely with product owners and participate in on-site PI planning sessions.
