Our client, a Fortune 100 Credit Union based in Vienna, VA, is seeking an Enterprise Risk Management - Risk Governance and Frameworks Risk Analyst to join their team on a hybrid schedule. This is not a remote role. Candidates must be able to commute to Vienna, VA, two days per week (the other three days are remote).

Job Description Responsibilities
  • Collaborate in developing and maturing our clients Enterprise Risk Framework, Risk Directives Framework, Issues Management Framework, Risk Governance Framework, and Risk Training Strategy to support the growth of our clients second line of defense risk management activities.
  • Support the development and maintenance of governance processes and documentation in alignment with our clients Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
  • Participate in developing the enterprise risk training strategy and support the creation of enterprise-wide training to drive awareness and a culture of effective risk management.
  • Develop program enhancements to identify critical areas to monitor and escalate issues and findings to appropriate stakeholders and governance committees.
  • Develop enterprise risk management (ERM) methodologies and frameworks to ensure consistency in analyzing, reporting, and governing enterprise risks.
  • Act as a thought leader across the enterprise to develop and implement enterprise risk management practices, components, and frameworks.
  • Use analytical skills to conduct risk process improvement, design, and drive process excellence and optimization efforts to mature the program.
Requirements
  • Candidates are required to be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • This is a W2 contract role; C2C arrangements are not supported
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise or operational risk management.
  • Experience with policy, procedure, and process development.
  • Experience leading risk and/or compliance-related activities in financial services or other relevant industries.
  • Effective skills in building strategic and execution-focused plans and alliances with stakeholders and leaders.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business needs.
  • Risk Management Certifications are a plus.
