They are a leader in providing innovative Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) solutions for commercial (School, Commercial Offices, Tenant Improvements, Hospitals) and residential projects. Committed to energy efficiency and sustainability, they work collaboratively with architects, construction teams, and other professionals to create high-quality, integrated building systems. They are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join their team.

Job Description:

As an Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing electrical, water piping, heating, and cooling systems that align with energy efficiency and sustainability goals. You will collaborate with architects, construction teams, and other professionals to integrate these systems into the building's overall design.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Design layouts for mechanical and plumbing systems, including performing necessary engineering calculations.
  • This would also include HVAC and or Plumbing drawings and designs
  • Conduct engineering analysis of commercial and multi-family buildings.
  • Ensure designs comply with building codes, standards, and regulations for both commercial and non-commercial projects.
  • Perform construction administration, including reviewing submittals and responding to Requests for Information (RFIs).
  • Prepare, print, and file plans, calculations, and documents related to MEP designs.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Architecture with a Mechanical or Electrical emphasis, or Construction Management with a Mechanical or Electrical focus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of experience in an MEP engineering firm.
  • Software Proficiency: Experience with AutoCAD is required; knowledge of Revit is a plus.
  • Licensing: Professional Engineer (PE) License is a plus but not Required
  • Strong understanding of the technical aspects of MEP engineering and design.
