Job Summary

Handles all aspects of the IT Department. Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations.

Essential Job Functions

Expand or modify system to serve new purposes or improve work flow.

Develop, document and revise system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards.

Provide staff and users with assistance solving computer related problems, such as malfunctions and program problems.

Check System Backup Job Logs.

Verify no essential folder/file is skipped and verify without errors and to ensure the daily backup process is completed.

Check server display message to reboot server as needed due to patches or hotfixes update. Apply new service pack as needed.

Check client/hosts to ensure the patches management has applied all necessary hotfixes/security patches.

Update Inventory Lists for all branch locations.

Issue notice (email alerts) when any incident occurs and issue warning network to users of potential system attacks (phishing, spoofing messages and other IT related risk preventions).

Check the anti-virus console to ensure that there are no virus alert issues and randomly verify the dates of the clients virus definitions. All should be the same and none should be more than 1 to 2 weeks old.

Check all critical servers of their system health issues daily.

Install and set up new computers for user departments.

Handle all IT issues support.

Manually update the SWIFT workstations (not networked) with the latest anti-virus definitions, and ensure that the weekly full scan has been performed.

Skilled in creating introductory computer training for non-technical users

Secondary Job Functions

Assist in various project implementations and other IT activities.

Any other IT jobs assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor Degree.

Must have 2 to 3 years IT experience.

Knowledge:

Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and hardware and software, including applications and programming.

Knowledge of the structure of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.

Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs and assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.

The ability to:

Arrange things or actions in a certain order or pattern according to a specific rule or set or rules (E.g., patterns of numbers, letters, words, pictures, and mathematical operations.

The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.

The ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong.

The ability to generate or use different sets of rules for combining grouping things in different ways.

The ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.

Education:
