Position Responsibilities

  • Manage diverse project teams which may include a variety of cross-functional resources such as developers, quality analysts, business analysts and project sponsors
  • Define the project schedule
  • Manage project budget, scope and risk
  • Remove impediments for the project team with a focus on delivery
  • Manage deployment planning and execution
  • Provide status to all levels of Project and Executive team members
  • As Scrum Master, coach the project team in Agile approaches to project execution

Required Education/Experience

Bachelor s degree in Business Information Systems or related field

8 years of experience working in a IT Project Management role

3 years of experience managing projects in an Agile environment

PMP or PMPACP certification a preferred

Expertise in Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)

Agile project management tools such as Jira or Rally preferred

Familiarity with Agile engineering practices such as Test Driven Development

Insurance industry experience a bonus
