We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to join our client s team, providing critical support for daily IT operations in Identity and Access Management (IAM) and facilitating the migration of HHS applications to IAMOnline. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the client to review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs, formulating systems that align with their overall business strategies. You will leverage your expertise in business process reengineering and identifying technology solutions to optimize business processes and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, analyze, and evaluate the client s business systems and user needs to design systems that align with their strategic objectives.
  • Document business and functional requirements across multiple projects, ensuring comprehensive and accurate specifications.
  • Lead business process mapping and reengineering initiatives to identify opportunities for operational improvements.
  • Develop solution options, identify potential risks, and conduct financial analyses such as cost/benefit, ROI, and buy/build evaluations.
  • Write detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and the steps required to develop or modify computer programs.
  • Provide daily IT support for Identity and Access Management (IAM), addressing user issues and ensuring system functionality.
  • Gather and document integration requirements for migrating the client s HHS applications to IAMOnline.
  • Organize and lead meetings with stakeholders at all levels, documenting key decisions and ensuring alignment on project goals.
  • Collaborate with testers to review test plans, compile results, and provide support for test users during the functional testing process.
  • Prepare project management artifacts within the client s defined project management framework.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience documenting business and functional requirements across multiple projects.
  • 6+ years of experience using Microsoft products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Visio.
  • 4+ years of experience in functional testing, including reviewing test plans, compiling results, and supporting test users.
  • 4+ years of experience preparing project management artifacts within a defined project management framework.
  • 4+ years of experience organizing, leading, and documenting stakeholder meetings.
  • 4+ years of experience in business process definition, documentation, and engineering.
  • 4+ years of experience with Identity Management implementations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience working with SailPoint IQ and OKTA application integrations.
  • 2+ years of experience working with Texas State Agencies.

Skills and Competencies:

  • In-depth knowledge of business process reengineering and industry-standard business process mapping.
  • Expertise in developing solution options, risk identification, and conducting financial analyses.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience writing detailed descriptions of user needs and program functions.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with a proven ability to lead stakeholder meetings and document outcomes.
  • Proficiency in Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems and integration processes.
