  1. Make sure the webpage is open.

  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Position Overview:

Multiple openings for a GE/Alstom Network Modeling Engineers for EMS/SCADA Transmission and Distribution to perform network modeling and display building tasks related to the current Transmission & Distribution systems.

Responsibilities:

Perform modeling and testing of various SCADA devices and validate data in EMS applications
Update EMS displays as equipment is added/updated in electrical substations
Perform EMS configuration tasks to support user access requests and other control center functionality enhancements
Perform network modeling for internal transmission areas
Perform modeling and display building tasks for Transmission Energy Management Systems (TMS)
Perform Habitat and database modelling

Required Skills:

Capable of performing modeling and display building tasks for TMS
Experience and skills in Alstom Grid/GE Habitat and database modeling environment
Experience and skills in Alstom Grid/GE display builder
Alstom Grid/GE e-terraSource
Alstom Grid/GE Substation Editor experience
Ability to interpret engineering drawings

Nice to have:

Experience and skills in Alstom Grid/GE Advanced applications (RTNET, STNET, RTCA, etc.)
Computer/programming/scripting familiarity
Basic electrical system knowledge
Power Systems Engineering
