QA Automation Engineer Location: Austin Texas Position Will be Remote in Texas

Job Details:
QA Automation Engineer 3 will be responsible for the development, execution, and maintenance of test scripts for both automated and manual testing. Experience preparing UAT test cases, aligning them with business requirements, and conducting walkthroughs with stakeholders to ensure clarity. Creates test cases and tracks test case execution in ALM and provides reporting. Use JIRA to log and track defects. Develops and maintains requirements traceability matrices. Must have experience working in an Agile environment. Supports the development team as needed in dev, test, and UAT environments and troubleshoots the defect as required.

Job Requirements:
Experience in writing and executing test cases, as well as creating test plans.
Knowledge of software usability concepts and requirements traceability, and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) process.
Strong QA automation testing and scripting experience using UFT (Unified Functional Testing tool).
Strong knowledge of complex SQL query writing for database validation.
Strong knowledge and experience with ALM Test Management tool and JIRA.
Proficient in defect tracking and management using tools such as ALM and Jira.
Strong knowledge and experienced in Load testing using Loadrunner and LRE.
knowledge and experience working on HL7 FHIR
Good hands-on experience with API Testing using Postman, SOAPUI, JMETER, and similar.
Knowledge and experience working with a scrum team in an agile environment to deliver software release sprints for HHSC, on time, with a focus on quality using Jira and SharePoint.
Experience working on different types of testing: e.g., unit, integration, regression, smoke, user acceptance, system, stress, and load/performance.
Ability to effectively organize and present complex technical information, both orally and in writing.
Ability to effectively work both independently and with sprint development team members.
Ability to work under pressure under tight time constraints.
Be self-driven, helping the team achieve goals and overall project delivery milestones.
Skill communicating with varied levels of staff and end users to develop positive and effective working relationships.
Ability to assist by responding to inquiries from others regarding errors, problems, or questions about programs and handling multiple projects.
Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming preferred.
Experience working with the State of Texas HHS agency and system
