MDM Developer & (data engineer)

Job Title: MDM Developer
Location: Baltimore, MD,
Contract-w2 -12 Months

Requirements:

1. BS in computer science, database management, data engineering, or equivalent a plus
2. 10+ years of experience as a data engineer
3. At least 5-7 years of hands-on experience in MDM design, development, support and operations with Informatica MDM tool suite.
4. Experience processing various file types (CSV, Fixed Width, JSON, XML)
5. Extensive knowledge and experience in defining Master Data Management strategies, implementing MDM services and capabilities, Metadata Management, Data Governance, and Data Quality solutions
6. Familiarity with enterprise data integration technologies and methods such as ETL, API, data replication, and data services
7. Thorough understanding of deterministic and probabilistic matching methodologies and master data hierarchy management
8. Define requirements for data matching and merging rules, survivorship criteria and data stewardship workflows that can be deployed in MDM
9. Define measurable metrics and the minimal required attributes for each domain or subject area to support a robust and successful deployment of a MDM platform
10. Experience working with one of the address standardization tools like Address doctor/Trillium is desirable
11. Familiarity with data party data model, Dimensional model, Star Schema, Data vault is desired.
12. Experience working with large and complex data set able to write simple/complex queries to help create dashboards
13. Familiarity with iterative development methodologies (agile)
14. Strong interpersonal oral and written communication skills
15. Ability to set priorities and objectives, then plan and organize the team in order to meet them
16. Able to work independently, plan workloads and deliver on commitments
17. Superior analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities
