  1. Make sure the webpage is open.

  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Title: Embedded Software Engineer III
Location: Sunnyvale, CA or Seattle, WA (Onsite Required)
Duration: 6 months with extensions to 24 months
Compensation: $58.00/hr - $70.00/hr
Work Requirements: , Holders, or Authorized to Work in the U.S.

Scope of Work:

  1. Firmware development & debugging

    • Implement firmware on micro-controllers, leveraging peripherals, supporting boot loaders, and scheduling real-time tasks (RTOS)
    • Debug software & firmware issues such as faults, lockups, etc., including bug triaging through log analysis and stack traces

  2. Firmware test development & testing (automated & manual)

    • Develop and execute manual test cases
    • Create automated test cases and add them to testing frameworks

  3. Logistical support and device management

    • Provide lab and technical support, playtesting, and dogfooding

Must-Have Skills:

  1. Experience with embedded micro-controllers, specifically ARM Cortex M0/M3/M4 architecture, and their boot mechanisms
  2. Proficiency in design and programming in C or C++ for development, debugging, testing, and performance analysis

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  1. Experience with Zephyr RTOS
  2. Familiarity with peripherals such as USB, SPI, MIPI CSI/DSI, I2C, UART, GPIO, and their interrupt priorities

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Develop compartmentalized firmware features
  • Create firmware tests
  • Debug firmware issues
