  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

MW Partners is currently seeking an Advisor, IT Data Center Operations to work for our client who is a leader in the technology industry.

Responsibilities and duties:

  • Participates in the design of new data center projects
  • Team/project leader on one or more initiatives or projects
  • Manages multiple activities related to data center infrastructure
  • Assumes a leadership role in maintaining up-to-date knowledge of information systems technology and disseminating that knowledge to the organization
  • Responsible for developing, applying, revising, and maintaining data center policies, procedures and standards
  • Serves as data center representative in cross-functional projects
  • Provides in-depth guidance and leadership to lower-level team members
  • Evaluate implemented solutions and practices, identify opportunities, and recommend solutions for continuous improvements Perform complex tasks with regard to the development of processes, procedures, automation tool implementation, and deployment of tools
  • Works with users, cross-functional technical staff, and all levels of management and project management to translate requirements into documented processes and procedures
  • Provides operational/technical and/or administrative support for specific software products and tools deployed within the data center
  • Leads the development and delivery of technical training programs

Requirements:

  • Develop Expert Level Support on IDRAC, CMC, NIC, HBA connection issues and Server Hardware Troubleshooting
  • Develop intermediate-level support for OS troubleshooting on Linux, Windows, and ESX.
  • Parts/LOIS Management
  • Quarterly Parts Locker Inventory
  • Contact Business Partners (DBA, APP, Storage, Network, OS Teams) to schedule downtime
  • Hardware Replacements and Upgrades
  • BIOS and Firmware Upgrades
  • Escalate and Open Support Cases with ProSupport
  • Put HOST in and out of Maintenance Mode.
  • Monthly DataCenter Walkthrough.
  • Provide Smart Hands for Remote SEs.
  • Be available for data center on-call support.
