Your Role

In this pivotal position, you will act as the trusted security advisor within the organization, working closely with stakeholders across various departments, including commercial, Development, Engineering, and Operations teams. Reporting directly to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), you will be instrumental in seamlessly aligning our security initiatives with business objectives. Your expertise in security practices will enable you to tackle evolving challenges effectively while communicating our Information Security strategy to both customers and employees worldwide. You will lead a diverse global team of security professionals, ensuring our security program adapts and scales in line with our anticipated growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the CISO to establish strategic direction for the overall security program.
  • Promote a security-first culture throughout the organization, ensuring alignment with IT, Product Development, and Engineering.
  • Develop and implement security programs that align with organizational goals and safeguard our information assets.
  • Manage and mentor a growing Cyber Security team, facilitating their professional development.
  • Regularly report on cybersecurity posture, identified risks, and mitigation strategies to senior stakeholders.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for security audits and customer audits (ISO 27001, SOC 2, etc.).
  • Drive continuous improvement within our Information Security Management System (ISMS) and uphold ISO 27001 practices.
  • Evaluate security measures, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend strategies for risk reduction.
  • Oversee incident response planning and handle investigations of non-compliance.
  • Develop and implement an Information Security Awareness program.

Required Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in technology, with a minimum of 5 years in operational security.
  • Proven experience managing an information security management system (ISMS) in a dynamic international context.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001), and regulations (GDPR, CCPA).
  • Background in information security technologies, including security tools and vulnerability management.
  • Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISA, CISM) are preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
