  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

This growing company in the Financial Services industry is seeking developers to join their team on a contract basis. You will design, implement and maintain all operational and reporting database systems of the company. Construct conceptual, logical, and physical data models and develop and maintain business logic within stored procedures and ETL transformations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and develop operational and reporting database systems utilizing the latest techniques in data modeling and ETL concepts.
  • Model database solutions and ensure quality assurance and timely delivery of data.
  • Investigate, troubleshoot and correct data and user related system errors, and ensure data integrity.
  • Manage SQL Server in enterprise environment, including installation, configuration, backup, recovery, upgrades and schema changes.
  • Translate stakeholder requirements from formal requirements document into database design.
  • Contribute to supporting an IT roadmap that is forward thinking and sets the ground work for reducing maintenance cost while meeting or exceeding business objectives.
  • Promote a constructive, positive team environment and maintain a spirit of openness, information sharing inquisitiveness, problem-solving and support for common goals.

BACKGROUND

  • T-SQL (code from scratch) - stored procedures, ETL
  • Azure DevOps
  • SQL Server Management Studio
  • Dedicated SQL Pools (previously called SQL DW)
  • Enterprise level scheduler Active Batch(may look at Control M, other)
  • PowerShell and SSIS - preferred
