Position Summary

The HRIS Analyst will help administer our HCM system (Ceridian Dayforce), develop analytics, dashboards, metrics, and reporting that assists in supporting HR programs and decisions while being responsible for providing insights into internal trends. This role will collaborate heavily with the HR, Payroll, and Benefits teams to investigate user and systems errors, provide technical support to the applicable users, and develop innovative, high-quality HCM solutions to meet expanding business needs.

Essential Functions

  • As a member of our HRIS Analyst team, your primary focus is providing HR system support across the organization and ensuring the integrity of the HR data within the Dayforce system.
  • You will be responsible for administering, enhancing, and supporting all HRIS activities and should have technical knowledge to do so.
  • The role serves as a Dayforce technical point of contact for continued maintenance and configuration of modules.
  • Ensure data integrity, testing of system changes, and process improvement opportunities while adhering to best practices and fulfilling change management requirements.
  • Interface with stakeholders to produce advanced Dayforce reporting, and devise methods of data delivery such as Odata and PowerBI.
  • Monitor, track, troubleshoot, audit, and document vendor interfaces and system exports to ensure reliable transmissions of data.
  • Produce visual resources such as diagrams, process flows, dashboards, and guides in support of business needs and change management requirements.
  • Assist in managing permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations and settings for users in compliance with internal controls and requirements.
  • Test, review, and audit employee data changes to ensure they result in accurate records, error-free payroll, and seamless processes.
  • Interface with vendors to resolve and document support issues to resolution.
  • Translate business objectives and user needs into technical requirements and implement these requirements into existing systems.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of HRIS experience working in Dayforce HCM.
  • Ability to work independently and a strong willingness to frequently collaborate with other remote team members.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft 365 required.
  • HRIS administration and implementation experience, preferably with direct participation in data handling for acquisitions/mergers
  • Proficiency with Dayforce data imports and reporting via OData/API is preferred.
  • Some experience preferred with Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Power BI, SQL DAX, XML, Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Excellent writing skills and communication skills (including oral and written presentations, technical writings, and documentation)
  • Associate degree or higher preferred in Human Resources, Computer Science, or other related/analytical degree discipline.
