Description:
Our client, a leader in their industry, has an excellent opportunity for a Software Engineer in Test to work on a 12-month contract in Durham, NC. The pay rate is in the $65 to $70/hour range. This is a hybrid position, requiring two weeks onsite per month. Candidates must be local to the Raleigh/Durham, NC area.
Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Responsibilities:
Develop automated testing solutions for high-volume batch applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional Quality Assurance and Development teams to deliver financial planning tools.
Use Java, Spring Boot, and REST Assured for API automation testing.
Implement testing strategies using Postman, Cucumber, Gherkin, and Jenkins.
Drive innovation in test automation and DevSecOps processes to enhance delivery speed and quality.
Experience Requirements:
Strong experience with Java, REST Assured, and Postman for API automation.
Knowledge of Spark, cloud technologies, and Agile software development practices.
Expertise in BDD testing with Cucumber and Gherkin.
Experience in high-volume batch processing and working with relational databases for test data mining.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
