Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled integration engineer to integrate AWS services into our container, security and observability platform.
In this role you will be collaborating with the product development teams in taking existing platform offerings to a SaaS delivery model. In conjunction with product architects you will be spearheading required architectural changes, drive the integration of AWS APIs like metering and billing into the respective products, and use AWS services like CloudFormation to automate and manage system provisioning at scale.
In this role you will work with the VP of Cloud Strategy, VP of Product Management for our Container and Observability platforms, Cloud Engineering team and Cloud team within IT.

Key Responsibilities
- Architect and plan the technical transformation of existing platform products towards a SaaS delivery model with stakeholders
- Ensure seamless onboarding and provisioning processes for customers purchasing through AWS
- Be a key stakeholder in architecting and planning required business transformations that enable SaaS delivery models
- Lead the end-to-end process of listing for SUSE’s platforms products on the AWS Marketplace by partnering with existing SUSE domain experts
- Develop and implement automation scripts for system provisioning and deployment.
- Enable the use of entitlement management software in existing products
- Implement tools and analytics to measure user engagement and product usage.
- Address technical requirements and feedback from AWS reviewers promptly.
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, or AWS integrations.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in AWS services and APIs
- Proficient with cloud development kits
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Go, or JavaScript.
- Experience with automation tools (e.g., Terraform, AWS CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with observability tools and concepts.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, in remote teams.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team.
