HR Pundits is Interviewing candidates for the position of Sr. Teradata Developer with one our Prestigious Client.

Position: Sr. Teradata Developer

9 - 12 years of experience

• Experience in UNIX, SQL(Teradata)
• Strong Experience in performance tuning-required. With Teradata specifically-preferred.
• Strong expertise in reengineering system applications and processes-preferred.
• Experience with Teradata utilities like BTEQ,FASTLOAD,MLOAD, TPUMP, FASTEXPORT and Query manager-Strongly preferred.
• Strong expertise in understanding data modeling involving logical and physical data model-preferred.
• Expertise in writing, re-writing and dissecting complex SQL queries using multiple join conditions, case statements, arithmetic, aggregate functions and query tuning/optimization techniques. Strong knowledge of Basic and Advance Teradata SQL including all Indexes (Primary, Secondary, Partition and Join Index).
• In depth, practical knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts.
• Experience in designing processes involving Star/Snowflake schema and creating source to target data mapping based on the project needs-preferred.

Nice to have:

• Experience in Teradata Vantage analytical features.
• Handling complex data types like Geospatial Data Types, XML, JSON and Array.
