Job Responsibilities

  • Operate as a Workday Procurement specialist within the Finance department and help with procurement transaction processing in their new Workday instance. Processes will include:
    • Create purchase requisitions
    • Generate purchase orders
    • Receive goods
    • Process supplier invoices
    • Analyze spend
  • Collaborate with the system implementer and sustainment team as needed for post-go-live support activities
  • Help the client team members with learning how to work in the new Workday environment
  • Demonstrate ability to manage project scope and client expectations
  • Demonstrate follow-through on assignments and issue resolution
  • Engage with all project stakeholders to build teamwork and develop trust and confidence
  • Produce quality deliverables, as needed, that need little refinement or oversight
  • Possess clear and effective communication skills
Required

  • 5+ years of Functional professional experience in Workday FIN
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Substantial experience in Workday FIN modules within higher education settings
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a project team
  • Effective written and verbal communications a must, with presentation experience
  • Some ad hoc travel may be required
  • Knowledge of financial compliance regulations for higher education institutions

Preferred

  • Master's Degree preferred
  • Certification in Workday Financial Management

Attain Partners is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Individual base salary for this position is unique to each candidate and will commensurate with experience, education, and skills, ranging between $85,000 - $180,000. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
