The Digital Marketing Designer reports to the Art Director and supports the Office of Student Life by developing, designing, and implementing digital signage strategies and content that enhance the visual identity of the office and its departments. This role is responsible for designing and creating graphic and marketing communication materials that consistently identify, drive and communicate services offered by departments within the Office of Student Life, which include but are not limited to newsletters, brochures, invitations, schedules, manuals, web and other electronic materials, signage, multimedia presentations, motion graphics, displays, promotional item artwork and development and sponsorship materials; manages client relationships as applicable.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in design with visual communications major or degree from an accredited design or art institute with a graphic design major; 2 years of professional work experience and knowledge of design principles; proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite - Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and other layout programs; demonstrated experience working with marketing plans, creating and managing marketing related content and executing on deadlines; excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Desired Qualifications: 2-4 years of professional work experience Computer proficiency on IBM and MAC-based platforms; experience in other multi-media production venues; knowledge of professional printing standards and previous experience working with professional printers; experience working in a higher education setting; UI/UX experience; experience working with digital signage content management systems; technology savvy; demonstrated creative and innovative approach to marketing. Experience working in a student affairs or higher education setting.

Salary

Additional Information:

This job profile has a pay range of $51,000.00 - $67,000.00.

Offers within this range will be based on candidate's work experience, available department budget, and team equity.

This position is also a hybrid work opportunity.
