Job Description Summary

The Director of Worldwide Enterprise Commerce Strategy will lead the development, execution, and management of Veeam's Enterprise Commerce strategy. This strategic leadership role demands an innovative visionary who will drive Veeam's Enterprise program forward, ensuring it aligns with the company's long-term goals and objectives. You will spearhead the creation and implementation of transformative programs designed to maximize success and market impact.

In collaboration with cross-functional teams, you will identify and secure the necessary resources to achieve strategic objectives, ensuring efficient process identification, deadline management, and the attainment of leadership approvals for initiative launches. Your role is pivotal in providing strategic guidance and support to internal and external stakeholders, which includes representing Veeam in high-level customer sales engagements.

Responsibilities

  • Thought Leadership and Strategic Program Development: Lead the development of innovative strategies for enterprise sales, defining how customers engage with and purchase from Veeam. Shape and drive programs that address key enterprise needs, setting the vision for customer acquisition and success through strategic insights and industry expertise.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with global stakeholders, both internal and external to departments, external partners, and customers, to identify and architect strategic program enhancements, process improvements, and automation solutions.
  • Project Leadership and Management: Utilize program management tools to oversee complex, cross-functional projects, providing visibility to leadership and stakeholders. Proactively identify new operational tasks and collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to delegate responsibilities effectively.
  • Stakeholder Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders, including sales, customer technology (CT), global and regional enterprise marketing, and operations teams.
  • Cross-Functional Issue Resolution: Collaborate with various teams to address and resolve escalated platform issues, ensuring the delivery of platform and program support to internal stakeholders. Lead efforts to implement and maintain ongoing platform features to enhance overall functionality and user experience.

Qualifications

  • Over 15 years of proven experience in strategic enterprise program development
  • More than 15 years of global leadership experience
  • Experienced with worldwide responsibilities and multicultural environments
  • Enterprise sales experience is greatly desired
  • Experience with Aha! program management software is desired
  • Solid business acumen with appreciation for enterprise business objectives
  • Excellent English language verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adept at managing complex projects
  • Extensive experience working within a matrix structure, with the ability to lead without direct authority and influence key stakeholders
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Technical aptitude to effectively engage in discussions related to backend systems and IT technologies relevant to Veeam, including backup and disaster recovery, storage, virtualization, and cloud computing

The salary range posted is On Target Earnings (OTE), which is inclusive of base and variable pay. When making an offer of employment, Veeam will take into consideration the candidate's expectations, experience, education, scope of responsibility for the role, and the current market demands.
