The Facilitator I position is meant to work 20 hours per week and empowers parents to effectively support their children by providing education and coaching on positive parenting practices and strategies to enhance their children’s social and emotional development. The Facilitator II will work across the department providing support to parents so they can support their child and collaborate on cross-functional teams to assist families. Facilitator II engages parents as partners to create supportive home environments alongside positive behaviors at home, encourages healthy family dynamics, and helps parents develop confidence in their role as primary supporters. The Facilitator II also offers workshops/classes and resources to educate parents on relevant topics such as adolescent development, substance use prevention, setting boundaries, communication, and conflict resolution. Additionally, this position facilitates restorative conferencing within all Juvenile Services’ programs including Choice Pass, Diversion, law enforcement, and school partnerships.
Pay Rate
The hourly pay range from $27.03 to $30.77, plus partial benefits.

Requirements
- Must possess a valid Colorado driver’s license.
- Must complete ICS 100 and ICS 700 within the first year of employment.
Bilingual - English and Spanish Speaking (preferred)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Facilitation skills and training
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Operate a motor vehicle
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, Sociology or other related field required.
- Or four years of related work experience
- OR Equivalent combination of education and experience.
