Manual QA Job Responsibilities

  • Analyze the business requirements, system and risk associated with the change from both an end user and IT standpoint
  • Collaborate with business and IT to document requirements and estimate testing efforts
  • Develop testing scenarios and write clear test plans for both functional and regression testing
  • Review test plans written by others
  • Conduct manual test plans written by others within agile sprints
  • Document test results and report issues
  • Generate, compare and validate test data
  • Work with internal and external development teams
  • Manual QA experience
  • Execute someone test plans that they wrote.
  • What did the developer did and go back through. They will not edit code.
  • Will review test plans and gain advice. -We require input from other and to other for test plans.
  • Report issues, work with internal and external things. Claims Center is split into -2 different tracks and will be working with multiple teams.
  • We can train the person with Guidewire.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL, more of a bonus or must have. Will test with basic tables.
  • Don’t have to have ton of knowledge with SQL is fine.
