Job Summary

The Personal Injury Demand Writer is responsible for preparing comprehensive demand letters for personal injury claims. This role involves gathering and organizing relevant information, including medical records, bills, and other documentation, to accurately present the case to insurance companies or opposing parties. The Demand Writer plays a crucial role in advocating for fair compensation for clients by clearly articulating the facts, injuries, and financial impacts resulting from the accident.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drafting Demand Letters: Write detailed and persuasive demand letters outlining the facts of the case, the extent of injuries, medical treatment, and the damages being claimed.
  • Case Analysis: Review and analyze case information, including accident reports, medical records, and financial losses, to build a strong argument for the demand.
  • Client Communication: Communicate with clients to gather necessary information, clarify details, and update them on the status of their claim.
  • Documentation Review: Collect, review, and organize relevant documents such as medical records, treatment plans, bills, and wage loss statements.
  • Legal Research: Conduct research on similar cases, legal precedents, and state laws to support the demand and anticipate counterarguments.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with attorneys, paralegals, and other legal professionals to ensure the demand letter accurately reflects the client's situation and legal strategy.
  • Negotiation Support: Assist in negotiations by providing clear and concise summaries of demand letters and supporting documentation to attorneys and clients.
  • Compliance: Ensure all demand letters comply with legal standards and ethical guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Education: A bachelor's degree in a related field such as legal studies, English, or communications is preferred.
  • Experience: Prior experience in personal injury law, legal writing, or a similar role is highly desirable.
  • Skills:
