  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

  5. Click JavaScript.

Position Overview:

The Systems Administrator will be responsible for further developing and enhancing the use of monitoring applications which includes WAN/LAN, applications and server monitoring, reporting, and alerting.

Position Description:

  • Enterprise monitoring solutions: monitoring for the infrastructure (network pieces, server pieces, inefficiencies from hardware, etc.) monitoring applications to set all this up.
  • Focused Administration of SolarWinds and associated modules, or any other monitoring platform
  • Identify monitoring and alerting gaps and/or optimizations
  • Develop, support, and manage alert definitions, reports, and dashboard views
  • Review and manage service requests submitted through Service Now for monitoring/alerting
  • Review all existing Runbooks every 6 months and meet with technical and business teams to review Runbooks and make recommendations and appropriate adjustments to existing Runbooks
  • Review alerts, do triage and connect to server teams
  • Create “how-to” documentation to be used by the Network Operations Center
  • Assist in developing other enterprise Monitoring solutions. AppDynamics, PagerDuty, Splunk ITSI
  • Keep up to date on current technologies, industry news, systems compliance requirements, standards, and industry trends

Qualifications:

  • Must have SolarWinds experience
  • AppDynamics, PagerDuty, Splunk a plus
  • Help desk or other support experience
  • Excellent customer satisfaction acumen
  • Basic understanding of application settings and administration
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong attention to detail
