Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the company's system of accounts and keep books and records of all company transactions and assets ensuring compliance with GAAP
  • Prepare month end financial reporting package and various supporting schedules
  • Develop, implement, and enforce financial policies and procedures
  • Develop, analyze and interpret statistical and accounting information in order to appraise operating results in terms of profitability, performance against budget and other matters bearing on the fiscal soundness and operating effectiveness of the organization
  • Assist in the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, institute and maintain other planning and control procedures, including the cost accounting system, and analyses and reports variances
  • Manage projects related to the ERP system and process improvement initiatives
  • Support other departmental reporting needs through ad hoc reports and research
  • Evaluate and recommend insurance coverage for protection against property losses and potential liabilities while managing the certificates of insurance
  • Responsible for compliance with all federal, state and local corporate, payroll, sales and other applicable taxes and manage related audits
  • Manage bank and financial year end audits
  • Maintain daily and monthly cash flow planning
  • Manage Billing and Accounts Payable talent, including recruitment, supervision, scheduling, development, evaluation and disciplinary actions. Includes 3 employees at the corporate office.
  • Reviews and prepares various account reconciliations
  • Cross-train on various responsibilities

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience required; 5 years in a management position
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required
  • CPA preferred
  • Experience in a Project / Cost accounting environment
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain partnerships across all levels and departments
  • Must be able to juggle multiple projects and work well under deadlines
  • Excellent MS Office skills (Excel)
  • Ability to lead and mentor others
  • NetSuite experience a plus
  • Professional, high-integrity, reliable, organized, and results oriented

Salary Range - $100,000 - $130,000 plus AMAZING benefits!
