The firm have a superb reputation, and take a design-forward, mission-driven approach to their work. They are a high-performing group of individuals, and therefore seek a talented Vice President of Operations to take on a key role within the organization that will elevate the firm.

Core Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all operations functions, including, but not limited to, Operations, Human Resources, Marketing & Communications, Property Management, Social & Corporate Governance, and Information & Digital Technology.
  • Develop and execute strategies to achieve the Company’s financial and operational goals.
  • Plan and direct all aspects of the Company’s daily operational policies, objectives, and initiatives.
  • Optimize the Company’s operating capability and profitability.
  • Manage and evaluate third-party Property Management teams.
  • Negotiate property management agreements and other core legal agreements.
  • Establish policies and procedures that promote Company culture and core values.
  • Review staffing plans with various departments and approve hiring initiatives.
  • Evaluate Company and operational performance by analyzing data and translating it into actionable reporting, presenting reports to executives and investors.

Target Experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Business Administration, Finance, Architecture or similar field. An MBA is a plus.
  • 7+ years of experience in institutional Real Estate operations, such as Asset Management and/or Property Management.
  • Experience with Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) projects is preferred.
  • A track-record in leading and supporting company growth, inclusive of building high-performing teams.
  • Proven success in a leadership position with sound technical skills, analytical ability, and good judgment.
  • An energetic, forward-thinking, and creative team player with high ethical standards.
  • Ability to identify and solve problems and to formulate ideas to increase efficiency of operations.
  • Ability to perform in a high-pressure environment as needed in order to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong written, analytical, and oral communication skills; strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
