Public Relations Intern, Fall/Winter 2024-2025

About Us: Christian Cowan is a leading fashion brand known for its innovative designs and bold aesthetic. We are dedicated to pushing the boundaries of fashion and creating unforgettable experiences for our clients and audiences. We are currently seeking a dynamic and motivated Fall Intern to join our PR team and gain hands-on experience in the fashion industry.

Position Overview: As a Fall Intern at Christian Cowan, you will be an integral part of our team, assisting with a variety of tasks that support our PR and brand initiatives. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about fashion, highly organized, and eager to learn about the industry from the inside out. We are looking for candidates who are available to come in 2-3 days a week from Oct - Feb (with break for thanksgiving & Christmas/New Years)

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with day-to-day PR tasks, including monitoring media coverage and maintaining press clippings.
• Conduct brand and partnership research to identify new opportunities and potential collaborations.
• Manage stylist and magazine deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate distribution of samples.
• Support in the planning and execution of events - including our NYFW show in September
• Compile monthly media and press recaps, analyzing coverage and highlighting key news.
• Maintain an organized inventory of samples and PR materials
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including email correspondence and studio tasks

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant degree program (e.g., Fashion, Communications, Marketing, PR).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive and eager to learn, with a positive and professional attitude.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Previous experience in fashion or PR internships is preferred but not required.
