Position Overview: The Managing Director will be responsible for the overall leadership and strategic direction of the firm’s investment activities. This role requires a deep understanding of the private equity landscape, exceptional deal-making skills, and the ability to foster strong relationships with portfolio companies, investors, and industry stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investment Strategy: Develop and execute the firm’s investment strategy, identifying attractive investment opportunities and sectors.
  • Deal Sourcing: Lead the sourcing, evaluation, and execution of investment opportunities, including conducting due diligence and negotiations.
  • Portfolio Management: Oversee the performance of portfolio companies, working closely with management teams to drive operational improvements and growth strategies.
  • Investor Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, providing regular updates on fund performance and investment strategies.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and lead investment professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence, and professional development.
  • Market Research: Stay abreast of market trends and developments to identify new investment opportunities and inform strategic decisions.
  • Risk Management: Ensure robust risk assessment processes are in place to mitigate potential investment risks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in private equity, investment banking, or related fields.
  • Proven track record of successful deal sourcing, execution, and portfolio management.
  • Strong analytical skills and financial acumen.
