Position Overview: As a Principal in our Growth Equity team, you will play a pivotal role in sourcing, evaluating, and managing investments in high-growth companies. You will leverage your deep industry knowledge and analytical skills to identify opportunities, conduct due diligence, and support portfolio companies in scaling their operations. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership capabilities, and a collaborative spirit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sourcing Investments: Identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities through market research, networking, and building relationships with entrepreneurs and industry experts.
  • Due Diligence: Lead comprehensive due diligence processes, including financial analysis, competitive assessments, and operational evaluations, to inform investment decisions.
  • Deal Structuring: Collaborate with legal and financial teams to negotiate deal terms and structure investments that align with our firm’s strategic goals.
  • Portfolio Management: Actively engage with portfolio companies to provide strategic guidance, operational support, and access to resources that drive growth.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies to identify potential investment themes and opportunities.
  • Mentorship: Mentor junior team members, sharing insights and fostering their professional development within the firm.
  • Investor Relations: Participate in presentations and discussions with investors to communicate investment strategies, performance updates, and market outlook.

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in growth equity, private equity, venture capital, or related fields with a track record of successful investments.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of [specific sectors/industries] and trends influencing growth and investment opportunities.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
