  1. Make sure the webpage is open.

  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

About the Company:

My client in the Aerospace sector in Houston, TX is looking for an Assistant Financial Controller to oversee all accounting operations, ensuring financial records and compliance are kept accurate within accounting standards and regulations.

This is the perfect position for someone who is already a Controller or looking to step in a Controller position coming from a GL or Staff Accountant background

This role involves managing financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls, while providing strategic financial insights to senior management.

Responsibilities:

  • Directs and plans the maintenance of fiscal records and preparation of financial reports that summarize and forecast company business activity
  • Oversees determination of depreciation rates to apply to capital assets
  • Establishes or recommends major economic objectives and policies for company or subdivision to management
  • Serve as lead for all accounting business system activities
  • Develop account analysis practices to validate balance sheet and profit and loss accounts are appropriate

Experience:

  • Experience working on Commercial projects (as opposed to Government / Federal)

This is a hybrid position with a need to be on-site 2-3 days a week.
