RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Desktop Support Professional in Utah County, UT.
Summary:
As a Desktop Support Technician, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional technical support experiences for our employees. Your responsibilities will include supporting and maintaining organizational computer systems, desktops, and peripherals. This involves tasks such as installation, diagnosis, repair, maintenance, and upgrades of hardware and equipment to ensure optimal workstation performance.
REQUIREMENTS:
* 1-3 years of technology support experience
* Experience in PC and Mac desktop support, networking, IT concepts, service desk software, Active Directory, Okta, O365
* Familiarity with service desk ticketing and reporting systems
* Familiarity with technical support processes, including automation, optimization, and self-service
* Customer-first mindset with a track record of exceptional customer care
* Demonstrated teamwork, motivation, and mentoring abilities
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Leadership skills to manage direct and indirect reporting relationships
* Quantitative problem-solving skills for data analysis
* Adaptability in a dynamic business environment
* Ability to build relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Proven track record of meeting departmental goals and key metrics (SLAs)
* Documentation skills for problem resolution, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
* Ability to thrive in a dynamic culture and manage simultaneous initiatives
* Proven ability to build team culture and drive advancement
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
