  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

  2. Click. then Settings.
  3. Click Privacy and Security.
  4. Click Site settings.
  5. Click JavaScript.

Our client a leading Commercial general contractor based in Houston, TX are looking to grow their team with an Estimator. The business focus on Healthcare, Retail, Education, Hospitality, Restaurants, Education both ground up and interiors with projects ranging from 3M - 100M in value.

The Estimator will be responsible for estimating and determining budgets, conceptual pricing, and overall costs of new and existing construction projects working in a small team.

Responsibilities:

  • Verify material quantities
  • Relationship maintenance with client and vendor
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and conceptual estimates for new projects
  • Develop competitive bids for new work
  • Subcontractor vetting
  • Provide cost reduction ideas
  • Build relationships with contractors and assess market conditions

Qualifications:

  • B.A. or B.S.in Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering or Architecture or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of estimating experience on multi-discipline projects
  • Proficient use of estimating software

Compensation:

$95,000 - $140,000 base salary
