  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Title: Software Engineer (Java & Golang)

Location: Redwood City, CA (Hybrid 2-3 days/week)

Duration: 4+ months

Works with product teams, analysts and other engineers to design systems and application software, and mentor junior members of the team. We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Observability engineer to join our passionate development team. You will be very familiar with Rest API concepts and how to use Go or Java to build, develop and deliver Highly Available Real-time Distributed Data API systems.

Responsibilities:

Support development of API s for:

  • Log Collection and Analysis
  • Operational Metrics (SNMP/gNMI/RESTful based Telemetry)
  • Distributed Tracing
  • Code and Artifact Repositories
  • Secrets Management
  • Configuration Repository and Management
  • Event, Message and other such PUBSUB systems
  • Container Build Standards and Automation
  • Continuous Delivery
  • Write documentation as needed
  • Work as part of an Agile scrum team

Skills:

  • Very strong Go or Java language proficiency having at least 3 years experience in software and systems engineering
  • Good understanding of Networking concepts.
  • Good Grasp of Network observability and Telemetry (SNMP, gNMI, RESTful APIs)
  • Should have worked on Observability platforms or have strong knowledge of Observability/Telemetry systems.
  • Expertise and experience in delivering large-scale systems using big data technologies including but not limited to: Enterprise scale Kafka, Splunk, PrometheLoki/Grafana stack, ELK stack and other Time Series databases
  • Strong skills with Stream Processing Frameworks
  • Good understanding of implementing and deploying Container-based applications via CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of delivering Highly-Available Real-time Distributed Systems
  • Strong skills in building RESTful API s over Data platforms
  • Good understanding of the Git version control system
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
