Overview

We are seeking experienced IT Engineers to join our team in Santa Clara, Sunnyvale, or Newark, CA. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in Windows upgrades, migrations, and PC refreshes, with a focus on Windows 10-11 environments. This is a contract position with the potential for extension.

Responsibilities

  • Upgrade laptops from Windows 7 or 10 to Windows 11 for walk-in users.
  • Migrate data from existing laptops to new laptops.
  • Validate data after migration.
  • Migrate user folders or app data not backed up in OneDrive.
  • Work with a team of engineers to resolve laptop migration tickets.
  • Install, troubleshoot, and support Windows and Mac operating systems, Microsoft Office 365, user access management, antivirus, VPN, Bitlocker, and MFA.
  • Provide IT support using best practices, models, and procedures.
  • Demonstrate excellent knowledge of MS Windows 10 & 11, Mac, and iOS operating systems.
  • Configure email accounts on PC and mobile devices.
  • Proactively identify and suggest improvements to procedures.
  • Ensure all issues are properly logged and prioritized.
  • Follow up with clients to ensure their IT systems are fully functional.
  • Prepare accurate and timely reports.
  • Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals.
  • Maintain positive relationships with clients.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills (English - Verbal & Written).
  • Excellent attitude towards user support.
  • Minimum 3-7 years of experience in local IT support.
