Job Overview: Employee Relations Manager (Contract-to-Hire)
We seek an Employee Relations Manager to promote a positive workplace and manage employee relations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement employee relations policies and provide guidance to leaders and employees on workplace issues.
- Facilitate dispute resolution and offer advice on performance concerns, disciplinary actions, and complex leave matters.
- Manage employee relations cases, track activity, identify risks, and address trends proactively.
- Collaborate with HR and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
- Conduct investigations into workplace complaints and recommend actions to prevent recurrence.
- Develop training and communications to enhance understanding of policies and best practices.
- Support legal responses and collaborate with leaders to address employee feedback and investigation outcomes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in employee relations, HR, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Proven experience in conflict resolution and investigation processes.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for case management and reporting.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
- Proficiency in HRIS and other relevant software tools.
