Location: Onsite in Loveland, CO

Position Summary:As the Animator and Rigger you will be responsible for bringing creatures and characters to life through advanced animation and rigging techniques. This role demands a deep understanding of movement, anatomy, and technical rigging to ensure fluid and realistic animations that enhance the immersive gameplay experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Character & Creature Animation: Create high-quality animations that convey realistic movement and emotional depth.

  • Rigging: Develop and maintain complex rigging systems that allow for expressive and fluid animations.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with the art and technical teams to ensure animations are consistent with the project s visual style and technical requirements.

  • Optimization: Optimize animation assets to ensure they perform efficiently within the game engine, without compromising quality.

  • Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any issues related to character animation and rigging in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Animation, Game Design, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in character animation and rigging for video games.

  • Proficiency in industry-standard animation and rigging software.

  • Strong understanding of human and creature anatomy.

  • Experience working with Unreal Engine.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical Art experience in UE4 including setting up blendspaces

  • Hundreds of hours played in the ARK or ATLAS IP

  • Experience with the ARK or ATLAS DevKit

Compensation:

  • Salary: $72,500 to $105,500 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
